As I look back on the decisions we have made over the past year or so, there are many things to report on and over time we will do that but for today I begin with getting my kids to school.<br /><br />Our daughters go to the local public school which is located about half a mile from our home. There is a <a href="http://www.freiker.org/site/wiki/Home">program at the school</a> that rewards kids for riding their bikes with a prize (an iPod I believe) at the end of the year if they ride at least 120 days out of the year. So they are very motivated!<br /><br />Every morning so far – almost 40 times this year – we all hop on our bikes and take the 5 minute ride to school. It is fast, fun, and we all get a little bit of exercise every day.
